Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and ScholarX Education Technologies ("ScholarX", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of our AI-powered educational platform, website, and all related services.

By creating an account, accessing, or using ScholarX in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

ScholarX grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use our platform strictly for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.

You Agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account
• Maintain the security of your login credentials and notify us immediately of any unauthorised access
• Use the platform only for lawful educational purposes aligned with our mission
• Respect the intellectual property rights of ScholarX and all content creators on the platform
• Treat all teachers, students, and staff with respect in all communications

You Must Not:

• Share, sell, or transfer your account credentials to any third party
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to access platform content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with any part of our AI systems
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or violates others' rights
• Use ScholarX for commercial tutoring services without written permission
• Impersonate any teacher, student, or ScholarX representative

Certain features of ScholarX require a paid subscription. All prices are listed in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal
• You may cancel your subscription at any time via your Account Settings — access continues until the end of the current billing period
• We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' written notice
• Refunds are issued within 7 days of the original purchase if you have not accessed more than 10% of the course content
• Payments are processed securely via third-party processors — ScholarX does not store payment card details

ScholarX uses artificial intelligence to generate educational content including questions, feedback, and learning recommendations. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated content is provided for educational purposes only and may occasionally contain errors
• You should verify critical information against official textbooks and board-approved materials
• ScholarX makes no guarantee that AI-generated exam questions will appear in actual board exams
• Feedback and scores generated by our AI are indicative and should complement, not replace, teacher assessment
• We continuously improve our AI models — generated content may change over time

All content on ScholarX — including but not limited to AI models, software, course materials, question banks, logos, and UI designs — is the exclusive intellectual property of ScholarX Education Technologies and is protected under Pakistani and international copyright law.

• You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission
• Content you upload to ScholarX (e.g. notes, documents) remains your property; you grant ScholarX a licence to use it to provide our services
• ScholarX-generated study materials may be downloaded for personal use only and may not be resold or shared commercially

ScholarX is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

• ScholarX is not responsible for exam outcomes, academic results, or university admissions decisions
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our platform
• Our maximum liability to any user shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by that user in the 3 months preceding the claim
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without prior notice

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or use of ScholarX shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.

Before initiating any legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation for a minimum of 30 days. Contact us at legal@scholarx.pk to raise any concern.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and a notice on our platform at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of ScholarX after changes constitutes acceptance.
